In this video “Chris Matthews Reacts To Obama’s State Of The Union Speech,” you hear him attempting to give President Obama a compliment. It’s the “post-racial” thing that throws me off. Apparently President Obama performed so well that Chris Matthews forgot he was Black. Doesn’t that and the post-racial comment speak to Chris Matthews’ or even White America’s own racism, and how for just a moment they let it go and surprised themselves? This isn’t about President Obama transcending race. This is about White America recognizing their own racism. Who brought up the subject of race anyway. Watch the video and tell me what you think.
