Black Thought Outclasses Clipse On Their Own Song
Let me preface this by saying I’ve never really been a fan of The Clipse but I don’t hate them. I am a big fan of Black Thought and the Roots so I may be a bit biased. Check out this video shot on the Jimmy Fallon show where they rhyme live. (For those who don’t know who is who, Black Though is the one that rhymes second and hangs back the rest of the song.)

Hip Hop Interviews
If you know me at all then you know that The Roots is my all time favorite Hip Hop band. I love pretty much whatever they do and next to Prince I consume everything I can get my hands on from them. The leaders of the crew are ?uestlove and Black Thought. If you’re interested, here’s a fairly recent in-depth interview that really liked.
When I look back at the era of Hip Hop that I loved, there were two East Coast DJs that stood out among the others: DJ Premier and DJ Pete Rock. Here they are together talking about that era in a recent interview.
